The American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners, AANLCP®, is a professional membership organization of nurses and non-nurses working in the field of life care planning. AANLCP® promotes education, collegiality, collaboration, research, and standards as they relate to the practice of nurse life care planning. Their annual conference was held in Las Vegas, NV last week and Barbara Bate was there, after doing a bit of exploring at Bryce Canyon, Pink Coral Sand Dune State Park, and Zion National Park.

The conference was a busy four days, packed full of educational offerings including subjects related to costing, methodology, pain & addiction, spinal cord injuries, long term outcomes of major burns, technology, professional writing, targeted muscle reinnervation, soft tissue injuries of the spine, and best practices in nurse life care planning.
